Project Title: Emergency Food Security & Livelihoods Project \u2013 Juba County<\/strong><\/p>

In 2024, Human Appeal Development Organization (HADO) strengthened food security and livelihoods by supporting 20 farmer groups with seeds, tools, and mechanized agriculture assistance, including cash for land ploughing and tractor maintenance.\u00a0<\/p>

The project also provided cash transfers to vulnerable households, built farmers\u2019 capacity through group formation and training, and delivered emergency food assistance to over 5,500 households in displaced communities affected by conflict across Wonduruba, Lainya, Kuda, Sirimon, Nesto, and Rokon. The project supported 60 women with practical training in small business management, including bookkeeping, financial record-keeping, profit-saving strategies, and communication skills. To enable immediate business start-up and growth, each beneficiary received a non-returnable cash grant of USD 200.
