Project Title: Emergency Water & Relief Support – Juba County
From July to November 2023, Human Appeal Development Organization (HADO) implemented an emergency response project in Juba County, targeting displaced populations from Lokiliri Payam who had relocated to Nesitu, including surrounding areas such as Liriya Payam, Miri-Kiko, Kuda, and Serimon.
The project focused on improving access to safe water and essential relief items for vulnerable households. HADO installed three 5,000-liter water tanks and ensured regular refilling every two days over a six-month period, significantly improving water availability for affected communities. In addition, 1,600 eight-liter jerry cans were distributed to support safe water collection and storage, alongside emergency food assistance to address immediate needs.
This intervention helped reduce water scarcity, improved hygiene practices, and provided critical support to displaced families during a period of heightened vulnerability
