The intervention, implemented in 2024, addressed prolonged water shortages caused by mechanical failure of the borehole system. The rehabilitation works included replacement of damaged components, repair of the hand pump system, inspection of the borehole structure, and water quality testing to ensure compliance with public health standards.

Located in Ganji Payam, within Juba County, Central Equatoria State, South Sudan, the rehabilitated water point now serves hundreds of residents who previously relied on unsafe and distant water sources.
